For years, we have been supporting institutions giving shelter to multiply disadvantaged or challenged children and young adults in the vicinity of our operation sites.
In December 2007, the kindergarten in Kardoskút received a kitchen furniture element along with presents wrapped by the colleagues of E.ON in Budapest. The neighbouring primary school was also presented with gift parcels and with two foosball tables. In order to improve the primary school in Zsana, we donated them a PC. The 28 nursery school children and the 62 students in Pusztaederics received toys and school equipment in addition to gift parcels.
There are almost ninety children at the age of 3-18 living in state care in Hajdúszoboszló in 9 home apartments, under the guidance of the Pedagogical Special Service for the Primary and Vocational School, Student Hostel and Children’s Home. The institution puts a great emphasis on providing a homely environment for the children, yet the Service can hardly afford to buy toys at state costs. Therefore, E.ON Földgáz donated several toys to the institution, facilitating the development of the youth and encouraging their useful pastime activities.
