E.ON Földgáz Storage functions in the field of natural gas storage operations to utilise the existing storage capacities effectively, to install and operate further storage capacities with regard to expected trends and changes in domestic and transit needs by ensuring the appropriate profitability anticipated by the owners. E.ON Földgáz Storage has five underground storage facilities in Hungary with a total working gas storage volume of 3.460 bcm.
Daily withdrawal peak capacity is approximately 47.5 mmcm, covering more than 50% of the peak day gas demand during the winter period.
